With hundreds of interconnected trails throughout the South Metro area, deciding what to do on a sunny Colorado day can be overwhelming! Our goal is to continue to enhance and expand the multi-use trails to provide local and regional connections to provide a wide range of opportunities for all ages and abilities.
Community members often ask, “How do I get from point A to B?”. Can I ride my bike or walk there there? Is that a safe trail for my kids? Is it safe at night? I’m training for a 50 mile ride; where can I get a long ride in strengthen? When do coyotes tend to be out? What should we do if we come across one? Where’s the best spot to view some birds nesting?
The trails and greenways the Foundation is committed to providing include recreation, fitness and natural environment education and interpretation elements. There are so many types of activities throughout the entire trail system, we just might not get all the information in so please check back with us regularly.
